COVID-19 TRAFFIC LIGHTS

Please sign in using the QR code and use the supplied hand sanitiser as required.

Group lessons:

As we run classes of 15 or less, we can continue to run without needing to sight a My Vaccine Pass. 1-m physical distancing is required where possible. If our coaches do need to support you/your child while they are skating, they will be wearing masks and will endeavour to do so as briefly as possible. All of our coaches are full vaccinated as per mandate requirements. As per ‘outdoor exercises class’ guidelines, see below:

Drop-in sessions:

As the skatepark is an outdoor recreation facility that we cannot control access to, we are running under the ‘gatherings at red’ guidelines.

So we can have more than 25 people in the outdoor space, My Vaccine Pass will be required for any children over 12 years of age, no pass is required for 12 and under. 1-m physical distancing is required. This allows us to have up to 100 people in an outdoor setting. If numbers get too high or 1-m distancing is not possible, Rad Skate School will pack up and peel out.

These traffic light settings can be a little confusing huh! So we wanted to outline what each section means for skate lessons. Straight from the horses mouth (aka the COVID framework).

But the bottom line is, green/orange is fine, red we can’t touch yah.
One good thing about being outdoors is that things are a little more lenient.
Kids 11 and under do not come under these new settings
As we are working with children and in schools, all staff working for Rad are double vaccinated.
